“Righteousness will go before Him, And shall make His footsteps our pathway.”
That is an amazing verse.  Think of the footsteps of Jesus.  That is God’s footprint and I don’t I can ever find my way out of this huge footprint.   Because of Jesus Christ and His steps of obedience He has left a clear path to the Father.
His footprints lead to the cross where is died for my sins.  He took all my sin, sickness, shame His footprints walked out of the grave bringing new life.

Isaiah 53:5  “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.”
His footprints walked through hell to deposit sin where it belongs and to obtain the victory for me. To display the complete defeat of the enemy.
Acts 2:27 For You will not leave my soul in Hades, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.
Matthew 12:40 “For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth”
Read Psalm 88: 4-8:11-16  This was David’s prophetic psalm of Jesus in Hell.
Colossians 2:13-15 “And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14 having wiped out the [i]handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.”

1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring [a]us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,

Hebrews 2:9 “But we see Jesus, who was made [a]a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.”

His foot prints walked out of the grave with new life for all that will receive Him.

Luke 24:2  But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.

His footsteps led to the right hand of the Father, to give us a heavenly standing and authority with Him.
Mark 16:19 “So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God:
Ephesians 1:19-21  (NKJV) and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
“and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places inChrist Jesus,”
Amazing wisdom of God.  There is no flaw in God’s plan of redemption and salvation.  Righteousness went before Jesus and His footsteps made a pathway for us.   Jesus created the pathway to our right standing with God.
